Job summary

Aspens Services is seeking a Catering Assistant to join our school kitchen team in Somerset. You will support basic food prep and deliver great service during the lunchtime rush.

Work Monday to Friday during school term time, 16 hours per week, 38 weeks per year, at £12.71 per hour. Training will be provided, and safeguarding checks will be completed as part of joining Aspens Services.

Qualifications

• Experience in catering or fast-paced service is desirable.
• Basic knowledge of health and safety practices.
• Food Hygiene Level 2 is great, training provided by us.

Responsibilities

• Assist basic food preparation.
• Provide friendly customer service to students and staff.
• Operate tills during service. Training is provided.
