Job summary

Thomas Franks Ltd is seeking a Catering Assistant for its contracts in Lancashire, based in Blackburn. You will serve clients across breakfast, lunch and dinner, help set up dining areas and maintain high hygiene standards.

The role requires reliable, flexible individuals with strong customer service and teamwork skills. There is a DBS/safeguarding process, and the site offers free parking on site, with term-time 35 weeks per year and Monday to Friday work.

Qualifications

• Previous experience of serving customers within a catering establishment.
• Team working abilities with good listening skills and ability to work on own initiative.
• Impeccable personal presentation, hygiene and behaviour to others; food hygiene certificate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve clients during breakfast, lunch or dinner service.
• Help setting up the dining room for service and keep areas clean and tidy.
• Prepare food for service following hygiene and safety standards and ensure correct storage of equipment.
• Restock and replenish stocks during service and assist with cleaning duties.
