Job summary

Thomas Franks is seeking a Catering Assistant for our contract in Lancashire. This term-time role runs 35 weeks a year, Monday to Friday, with free parking on site and benefits that support our team.

You will assist during breakfast, lunch and dinner, help set up dining spaces, and maintain high hygiene and customer service standards. The successful candidate will have catering experience, be reliable, and able to work independently when needed.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate in English (verbal and written)
• Previous catering/customer service experience
• Willingness to learn and take responsibility

Responsibilities

• Serve clients during breakfast, lunch or dinner service
• Help setting up the dining room for service
• Prepare food following hygiene and safety standards
• Ensure the kitchen is clean and tidy to required standards
• Interact with customers and client staff
• Restock and replenish stocks during service periods
