Job summary

Thomas Franks is seeking a Catering Assistant to join their established team in Somerset. The role supports breakfast, lunch and dinner service across a 7-day operation, with a 5-out-of-7 pattern and term-time plus 47 weeks commitment.

You will help set up dining areas, serve clients, and maintain high hygiene standards while contributing to a busy, on-site catering environment for pupils and staff.

Qualifications

• Previous experience of working within a catering environment.
• Experience serving customers within a catering establishment is required.
• Ability to work as part of a team and follow hygiene standards.

Responsibilities

• Serve clients during breakfast, lunch or dinner service.
• Help setting up the dining room for service.
• Prepare food for service following hygiene practices.
• Keep kitchen and service areas clean and tidy to required standards.
• Restock stocks and assist with cleaning duties during service.
