Job summary

Thomas Franks Ltd in Warminster is seeking a hands-on catering assistant to support busy meal service across breakfast, lunch and dinner at the school site. You will help with serving, replenishing, cleaning and setting up dining areas, while following food safety and hygiene policies and assisting with events.

Ideal candidates will have team spirit, reliability, adaptability and a willingness to learn. The role may include evening or weekend work for functions and school activities.

Qualifications

• Team working abilities and a positive, reliable attitude.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to varying shifts.
• Good verbal English, with writing skills as needed.
• Food hygiene certificate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support the team with serving customers, replenishing stocks, and cleaning.
• Prepare service areas for daily meals and assist with setup and clearing.
• Serve, store and handle food and equipment for functions and events.
• Restock stocks, manage wastage, and ensure hygiene and safety policies.
• Occasionally work evenings/weekends for school functions.
