Job summary

Thomas Franks is seeking a General Assistant at our Warminster location to help provide breakfast, lunch and dinner for a busy co-educational school.

You will thrive in a fast-paced catering environment, enjoy teamwork, and be flexible for shifts, including evenings and weekends. A Food Hygiene certificate is preferred, and on-site parking is provided.

This role offers excellent progression within a leading independent contract caterer and a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Experience in fast-paced catering is preferred.
• Food hygiene certificate preferred.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings/weekends.
• Good English verbal and written skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve customers and replenish stocks.
• Prepare service areas for meals.
• Set up, serve, clear, and tidy food, beverages, and equipment.
• Restock consumables and manage wastage.
• Occasionally work evenings and weekends for events.
• Observe food hygiene and safety policies.
• Handle rubbish and recycling correctly.
• Maintain high standards of customer service.
