Job summary

Thomas Franks Ltd is seeking a catering assistant to support daily service in a fast-paced environment. You will help with food preparation, serving, and maintaining hygiene standards, ensuring all allergen controls are followed. Teamwork and reliable attendance are essential.

Qualifications

• Hold a Level 2 Food Hygiene qualification.
• Ability to communicate in English, both spoken and written.
• Experience in fast-paced catering or school function environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support the team with serving customers and replenishing stocks.
• Prepare service areas and set-up for meal service.
• Prepare, serve, clear, clean, and store food, beverages, and equipment.
• Restock consumables and assist during busy service times.
• Follow Food Hygiene and Health & Safety policies and allergen controls.
• Be flexible, reliable, and able to lift moderately heavy items.
