Job summary

Icknield Community College in Watlington is seeking a dedicated Caretaker to join our school team on a full-time, permanent basis. The role focuses on maintaining a safe, clean and secure school environment for children and staff. Start date ASAP with a 37-hour week across 52 weeks.

Salary is Grade 5 (£26,427 - £27,274 pro rata). Previous caretaking or facilities experience is advantageous. You will be joining a collaborative team and will report to the Hub Business Manager.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a caretaking, maintenance, facilities or similar role would be advantageous.
• Relevant practical skills and experience are more important than formal qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Maintain school buildings, grounds and facilities to a high standard.
• Work as part of the school site team to ensure safety and cleanliness.
