Job summary

Icknield Community College in Watlington is seeking a dedicated Caretaker to join our school team on a full-time, permanent basis. The role focuses on maintaining a safe, clean and secure school environment for children and staff. Start date ASAP with a 37-hour week across 52 weeks.

Salary is Grade 5 (£26,427 - £27,274 pro rata). Previous caretaking or facilities experience is advantageous. You will be joining a collaborative team and will report to the Hub Business Manager.

Are you practical, reliable and take pride in creating a safe and welcoming environment for children and staff? We are looking for an enthusiastic and dependable Caretaker to join our school team (Watlington Primary School and Icknield Community College) and play an important role in ensuring our school site is safe, secure, clean and well maintained. This is a varied and hands-on role, ideal for someone who enjoys practical work, solving problems and making sure things run smoothly behind the scenes.

What you will be doing
