New Directions Education Ltd are seeking a School Caretaker in Swansea, Wales, to help maintain a safe, clean and secure school environment. The role covers general maintenance, quick repairs and supporting daily operations on-site.

Applicants with prior caretaker, maintenance, facilities or security experience are preferred, and a clear DBS (Update Service or New Directions DBS) is required. The post offers both full-time and part-time options and regular supply work.

Qualifications

• Caretaker role at school site requiring maintenance and security
• DBS clearance preferred or required
• Experience in maintenance, facilities or security advantageous

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe, clean and secure school environment across the premises
• Carry out general maintenance and repairs as needed
• Support day-to-day running of the school site
• Open and close premises and liaise with contractors when required
• Be honest, reliable and able to work well independently and in a team
