Job summary

The Supply Register Ltd. is seeking a part-time Caretaker to support a school network across multiple sites in Plymouth. The role involves efficient caretaking, site maintenance and secure premises management with travel between sites required.

Expected hours are afternoons, approximately 2:30pm to 6:30pm, Monday to Friday. Candidates should have some caretaking or facilities experience, a full driving licence, and be prepared for safeguarding checks and right-to-work verification.

Qualifications

• Experience in caretaking, facilities, maintenance or site background is advantageous.
• Ability to travel between multiple school sites as required.
• Willingness to complete safeguarding checks and comply with policies.

Responsibilities

• General caretaking and site maintenance duties.
• Ensure premises are safe, secure and well maintained.
• Carry out basic maintenance and repairs where required.
• Assist with opening and closing of sites.
• Move between school sites as needed.
• Respond to site issues and maintain high presentation standards.
• Work flexibly as part of the school team.
