Aspire People is seeking a School Caretaker to support a range of school site duties on a temporary basis, with shifts from 7am to 6pm. Applicants with caretaker/site manager experience are preferred, and those with plumbing, carpentry or painting skills in a similar sector will also be considered.

Duties include securing the grounds, maintenance and repairs, health and safety, cleaning and general upkeep, plus event support.

Are you school Caretaker looking for a new role?

It is ADVANTAGEOUS that applicants have some caretaker/site manager experience. However, applicants with plumbing/carpentry/painting experience in a similar sector will also be considered.

You MUST BE willing to work on a TEMPORARY basis and between the hours of 7-6pm.

Some roles within schools will be 7-6 all day but, some may be split shifts as well such as 7-10am and then 3-6pm.

As a School Caretaker your day to day responsibilities will include but not limited to:

• Security of the school grounds
• Maintenance and repairs
• Health and Safety
• General upkeep and cleaning
• Event support

YOU WILL BE REQUIRED TO FULLY REGISTER WITH US INCLUDING PROVIDING RIGHT TO WORK DOCUMENTS ALONG WITH OBTAINING AN ENHANCED CHILD WORKFORCE DBS THAT WILL BE PROCESSED BY US BUT COME AT A COST OF £56 (UNLESS YOU ALREADY HAVE ONE REGISTERED ON THE UPDATE SERVICE).
