Job summary

St Gregory's Catholic High School in Warrington is seeking a dedicated Caretaker to join the site team, ensuring a safe, clean and secure school environment.

The role covers daily cleaning, minor maintenance, setting up equipment, litter picking, and assisting the Site Manager with health and safety duties, including opening/closing responsibilities as a key holder. Physical work and flexible shifts are required. This is a full-time, 37 hours per week contract.

Qualifications

• Experience in school caretaking or cleaning is desirable.
• Willingness to work early shifts and be physically able.

Responsibilities

• General day to day cleaning and minor maintenance.
• Setting up and moving equipment, litter picking and cleaning.
• Support Site Manager on health and safety duties and act as key holder.
• Open and close the site as part of the team’s routine; manual handling may be required.
