Job summary

A local educational institution is looking to appoint an experienced School Business Administrator to support the administration staff. You will manage financial administration for school leaders and work with various stakeholders. Key responsibilities include welcoming visitors, maintaining management information systems, and prioritising tasks. Overview

Oak Cottage Primary School wishes to appoint an experienced School Business Administrator. With the support of the other administration staff, you will play a key role in the administrative organisation of the school and deliver financial administration support to senior leaders and finance team at the Collaborative Education Trust.

Responsibilities
  • Welcome visitors and parents into the school and deal with enquiries.
  • Maintain the school management information systems and input documents, alongside daily reception duties.
  • Utilise various computerised systems and databases.
  • Work with a range of stakeholders in a professional, supportive and friendly environment.
  • Prioritise tasks, make sound decisions and demonstrate a discrete, flexible and professional attitude.
Requirements / Qualifications
  • Experience of using computerised systems and databases.
  • Excellent communication, IT and organisational skills.
  • Discrete, flexible and professional attitude with the ability to prioritise and make sound decisions.
  • Experience of working in a school environment is desirable but not essential; training for all systems can be provided if necessary.
Salary and Hours
  • Salary: Band C Points 8 to 14 (£26824 - £29540 pro rata)
  • Actual Salary: £22996 - £25325
  • Term time only plus 5 INSET days
  • Hours: 8.00am – 4.00pm
