Job summary

Education Authority (Northern Ireland) is seeking a Building Supervisor (with supervision) to provide on-site supervision, cleaning and non-cleaning services under the direction of the line manager and in line with Education Authority procedures. The role requires managing a team, safeguarding the premises and coordinating daily duties.

The post emphasises security, cleaning, porterage and administration, with duties spanning from opening/closing, alarm systems, and reporting to keep the site

Responsibilities

• Security responsibilities including locking up, monitoring alarms and safeguarding premises.
• Mechanical and electrical services oversight, boiler operation and routine maintenance of plant.
• Cleaning management and supervision of cleaning staff (if applicable).
• Administration tasks: reporting, records keeping and coordinating external contractors.
