Job summary

Protocol Education in Bristol is seeking Positive Behaviour Facilitators to join from September. You'll provide one-to-one and small group support for pupils who need extra guidance, building trusting relationships and helping them feel safe and ready to learn.

No extensive SEN experience required; patience, resilience and empathy are key. You will be a calm, proactive role model, working with school staff to encourage engagement and celebrate every child's progress.

Qualifications

• Patience, resilience and empathy are essential for supporting young people.
• No long SEN experience required; background in youth work, coaching or care can be valuable.
• You will be a calm, proactive communicator who supports children to engage with learning.

Responsibilities

• Providing one-to-one and small group support for pupils who need additional guidance
• Building positive relationships that help children feel safe, supported and ready to learn
• Supporting pupils with SEMH, ASD, ADHD or other additional needs
• Working alongside class teachers to adapt activities and encourage engagement
• Promoting positive behaviour through encouragement, consistency and praise
• Helping pupils develop emotional regulation, confidence and resilience
• Acting as a positive role model throughout the school day
