Job summary

Protocol Education Ltd is seeking a Positive Behaviour Mentor in Bristol to support young people with behavioural needs. You will work 1:1 with pupils, manage challenging behaviour, and assist them in engaging with learning. Ideal candidates will have experience working with children in a similar role. The position offers weekly PAYE pay, free CPD training, and flexible working opportunities. This temporary position may have potential for permanence in the future.

Qualifications

• Must have appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
• Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check required.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils' behavioural and emotional needs 1:1.
• Implement behaviour strategies alongside teachers.
• Lead small group activities.
• Assist pupils in engaging with learning.
• Ensure pupils feel safe and understood.
