Job summary

Teaching Personnel is recruiting for Behaviour Mentor roles in Bristol. You will work 1:1 and in small groups with pupils, supporting SEMH, ASC, ADHD and other needs to foster engagement and positive behaviours in school settings.

Successful applicants will have experience with children or young people, excellent relationship-building skills, and a calm, patient approach. The role offers long-term opportunities, ongoing CPD, and potential progression into permanent contracts.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 and small-group mentoring support.
• Support pupils to remain focused and engaged in learning.
• Help students develop positive behaviour strategies.
• Build strong, trusting relationships with young people.
• Encourage confidence, resilience and emotional regulation.
• Work closely with teachers, SENCOs and pastoral teams.
• Support the delivery of personalised interventions.
• Promote positive learning behaviours and independence.
