Job summary

Protocol Education is working with welcoming primary schools across Bristol looking for enthusiastic and compassionate Positive Behaviour Facilitators to join them from September.

You will provide one-to-one and small group support, build trusted relationships, and help pupils facing SEMH, ASD, ADHD or other needs, alongside class teachers to encourage engagement. No extensive SEN experience required; patience and resilience matter most as you help every child thrive.

• Patience, resilience and empathy to support pupils.
• Strong communication and ability to build relationships with children.
• Commitment to helping pupils feel safe and ready to learn.

Responsibilities

• Providing one-to-one and small group support for pupils who need additional guidance
• Building positive relationships that help children feel safe, supported and ready to learn
• Supporting pupils who may experience challenges related to SEMH, ASD, ADHD or other additional needs
• Working alongside class teachers to adapt activities and encourage engagement
• Promoting positive behaviour through encouragement, consistency and praise
• Helping pupils develop emotional regulation, confidence and resilience
• Acting as a positive role model throughout the school day
