Job summary

Codi Group in Carmarthenshire is seeking two part-time Scheme Support Officers to provide intensive, person-centred support in our supported housing services. The role involves working on a 7-week rolling rota, including weekends and bank holidays, with a focus on helping clients with complex needs to live independently.

You will deliver tenancy management and wellbeing workshops, support individuals per their plans, and maintain a safe building environment.

Job description

Two part‑time (27 hrs & 26hrs) Scheme Support Officers in supported housing services in Carmarthenshire. You will be required to work on a 7‑week rolling rota, which includes days and waking nights, and you must have weekend and bank holiday availability.

This is a Scheme Support Officer role based in our Supported accommodation service, Furnace Banc, Carmarthenshire. As part of this role, you will support people with a history of offending behaviour. Offences can vary in nature and severity, so it is important that applicants understand and are comfortable working with individuals from a range of backgrounds.

You will inspire, challenge and enable the people who access our services to lead successful and independent lives. We need you to work flexibly as part of the team to develop, implement and review high-quality person-centred support plans based on individual needs, preferences and aspirations.

  • Delivering workshops relating to tenancy management, health, and wellbeing
  • Supporting the client according to the support plan specifically tailored to each client
  • Ensuring the building is secure including health & safety checks and maintaining an awareness of who is in the building
  • Dealing with challenging behaviours and responding to arising needs

This challenging but rewarding role involves providing intensive support to individuals with complex needs, including mental health and substance misuse.

You will be a first point of contact and positive role model, helping people transition into independent living. This role is perfect if you are someone who flexible, motivated, and passionate about making a difference, with strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.
