Saxonwood Court is home to 36 residents and provides dementia-friendly, residential care in sunny Battle, East Sussex.

We’re seeking a Residential Scheme Manager to assist the Regional Manager in delivering services across a locality, with a focus on ensuring safety, high quality, and value for money. You will promote our “Ageing Well” agenda, ensuring the delivery of safe, vibrant environments that are housing management compliant and desirable for older people.

Your responsibilities include overseeing building management tasks such as managing specifications for major works, obtaining tenders, circulating notices and supporting documents, instructing contractors, and supervising certain works. You will deliver excellent customer service by communicating clearly and effectively, supporting individuals to sustain their lease or tenancy and maintain independence at home.

You will regularly conduct health & safety, fire safety, and warden call system checks across 32 properties, ensuring compliance and high service standards. You will also identify and manage risks, including safeguarding, and ensure appropriate actions and controls are in place.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have experience working in a housing environment or recent demonstrable frontline customer service experience.
  • Be proactive, confident, well-organized, and possess a positive attitude.
  • Be able to work collaboratively and adapt communication styles to enhance impact and meet recipient needs.
  • Think practically and logically, produce high-quality work, and resolve problems to meet deadlines.
  • Be flexible, including working outside normal hours and attending evening and weekend meetings.

Appointment is subject to a satisfactory DBS check, references, and valid Right to Work documentation.
