We are Ambient Support, a registered UK charity with over 25 years’ experience in providing care and support services for older people, individuals with mental health needs, and people with learning disabilities.
We are a Day and Drop-in service offering flexible, person-centred, stimulating support in a community-based setting for individuals with learning difficulties. Our service provides access to various activities and outings.
This is a fantastic opportunity to make a positive impact by encouraging our service users to participate in activities. During day trips, we may use a minibus for small groups or public transport to help build confidence and familiarity with local landmarks. This forms an important part of vocational training to help develop independent living skills. No two days are the same, and you'll find it rewarding to make a difference.
We seek a Scheme Manager eager to join a supportive, friendly, and fast-paced environment. You will have a positive impact on residents’ lives, providing a friendly face they can rely on. Ideally, you will hold a management qualification (e.g., QCF Level 5 or similar) with at least 3 years’ experience in a senior role, supervising, training, and mentoring care and non-care staff. You will assess service users’ needs for care, leisure, social interaction, and professional support.
