Job summary

Hightown Housing Association is seeking a Resident Scheme Manager for Moatview Court in Bushey. This live-in role involves supporting residents aged 60+, promoting a safe and vibrant community, and coordinating care and maintenance across the scheme.

You will be calm under pressure, capable of building strong relationships with residents, families and external agencies, and you will manage day-to-day operations with independence and organisation.

Qualifications

• Experience working with older people or a similar group.
• Calm and confident in emergencies.
• Compassionate, approachable and able to build strong relationships.
• Organised and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Supporting residents’ wellbeing through regular contact and day-to-day oversight.
• Responding to emergency calls and coordinating support when needed.
• Encouraging social activities and building a strong inclusive community spirit.
• Liaising with families, GPs and external agencies to support residents.
• Overseeing communal areas and working with contractors to maintain high standards.
• Carrying out health & safety checks and ensuring compliance.

Salary: £28,899 per annum (37.5 hours)

At Hightown Housing Association, we are passionate about providing high-quality homes and supporting people to live independently. We’re looking for a Resident Scheme Manager to join our friendly retirement housing scheme at Moatview Court. Please note, this is a live in position.

This is a rewarding role where you’ll support residents aged 60+, helping to create a safe, welcoming and vibrant community.

What you will be doing
