Job summary

Niyaa People Ltd is recruiting on behalf of a well-established housing organisation for a Temporary Scheme Manager to support a residential scheme in Dursley, Gloucestershire. The role focuses on day-to-day management, resident support, and ensuring key compliance processes are completed.

The position offers a temporary contract (minimum 3 months), up to 18 hours per week (ideally 3 days), with full training provided and an immediate start for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Proficient with IT systems and databases.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular compliance and safety checks.
• Respond to resident enquiries with excellent service.
• Report and follow up repairs.

• Liaise with solicitors and external parties as needed.
• Maintain accurate records and update databases.
• Assist the wider housing administration team.
• Ensure the scheme is well managed and compliant.

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established housing organisation for a Temporary Scheme Manager to support a residential scheme in Dursley, Gloucestershire.

The Role

As Scheme Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the scheme, supporting residents and ensuring key compliance and housing processes are completed effectively.

• Carrying out regular compliance and safety checks.
• Responding to resident enquiries and providing excellent customer service.
• Reporting and following up repairs.
• Supporting sales activity and arranging sales-related appointments.
• Liaising with solicitors and other external parties where required.
• Maintaining accurate records and updating relevant databases.
• Supporting the wider team with general housing administration.
• Ensuring the scheme remains well managed and compliant.
• Full training will be provided on the organisation's systems, processes and compliance requirements.

About You

• Experienced in a customer-facing or housing-related role.
• Confident communicating with residents both face-to-face and over the telephone.
• Computer literate and comfortable using databases and IT systems.
• Ideally experienced using Microsoft Excel.
• Organised, reliable and able to work independently.
• Confident dealing with queries and resolving issues professionally.
• Previous housing or supported housing experience would be advantageous but isnot essential.
• You will need to complete aBasic DBS check.
• A driving licence isnot required, as the role is based at one site.
