Job summary

MossCare St. Vincent's Housing Group Limited is seeking a proactive Scheme Coordinator to lead the day-to-day operations of a Later Living scheme. You will manage staff, deliver housing services, and ensure safety and compliance for residents.

You will supervise the scheme team, oversee allocations, income checks, wellbeing support, and partnerships with contractors and external agencies to promote tenant welfare and community engagement.

Qualifications

• Good standard of education and commitment to safe, customer-focused services.
• Experience working directly with customers and understanding needs of older people.
• Knowledge of tenancy and property management and welfare benefits is advantageous.
• Strong communication, organisational and ICT skills with ability to manage priorities.
• Ability to respond to emergencies and facilitate social activities for wellbeing.

Responsibilities

• Deliver housing management services: allocations, lettings, tenancy sign-ups, voids, and arrears monitoring.
• Ensure scheme safety and compliance through risk assessments, health and safety checks, and building maintenance.
• Provide daily wellbeing checks, respond to emergencies, and coordinate with external agencies for welfare.
• Build partnerships with contractors, community organisations and funding bodies to enhance customer experience.
• Lead and develop the scheme team through supervision, coaching, recruitment, and performance management.
