Job summary

Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust (MFT) is seeking dynamic Outpatient Coordinators to join the Booking and Scheduling Team at the University Dental Hospital, Manchester. You will handle clinic bookings, phone lines and reception duties, delivering a first-class service while maintaining accurate patient records.

Qualifications

• GCSE or equivalent and administrative experience.
• Experience dealing with members of the public and providing a high level of service.
• Experience with waiting lists, RTT knowledge, and booking/scheduling processes.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, book and cancel clinics ensuring accurate scheduling.
• Provide telephone service and record incoming calls.
• Maintain patient records and ensure accessibility in the clinical area.
• Assist in induction training and day-to-day supervision of staff.
• Contribute to team practices to improve efficiency and service quality.
• Manage waiting lists and ensure theatre lists align with capacity and targets.
• Utilise hospital systems such as HIVE to manage patient pathways.
