Job summary

GTS Group Ltd in Plymouth is seeking a SCADA Engineer / Technical Project Manager for an outside IR35, initial 6‑month contract. The role pays £350-£400 Ltd per day and sits at the delivery side, coordinating across engineering and client teams.

You won’t reprogram systems; you’ll ensure the right technical decisions are made, translate between engineering and delivery, and oversee a major shore infrastructure upgrade on a sensitive naval site.

Qualifications

• Strong SCADA background across platform-agnostic systems.
• Genuine project management or technical coordination experience.
• Comfortable working client-side or consultancy-side, not hands-on engineering.
• BPSS clearance required; existing BPSS moves you to the front of the queue.

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight across a live redevelopment programme and coordinate between engineering and delivery.
