Job summary

Giant Recruitment Group Ltd in Plymouth seeks an experienced SCADA Engineer for a long-term industrial project. You will maintain, fault-find and commission SCADA and control systems, ensuring reliable site infrastructure while collaborating with electrical and commissioning teams.

The role involves commissioning, configuring and maintaining SCADA/PLC/HMI systems, diagnosing faults, supporting testing, and ensuring safety procedures are followed on site. Start ASAP with 45–50 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Experience as SCADA or Control Systems Engineer.
• Experience with PLCs, HMIs, and automation systems.
• Electrical fault-finding and commissioning experience.
• Industrial, utilities, power generation or process plant background preferred.
• ECS Card or relevant qualifications beneficial.

Responsibilities

Rate: £40.00 - £45.00 per hour (DOE)

Contract: Long-Term Contract

Hours: 45-50 Hours per Week

We're recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced SCADA Engineer to join a major mechanical and electrical project in Plymouth. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a long-term industrial project supporting the upgrade and commissioning of critical control and automation systems.

You’ll play a key role in maintaining, fault-finding and commissioning SCADA and control systems, ensuring the reliable operation of site infrastructure while working alongside electrical, commissioning and project engineering teams.

The Role
