Job summary

MC Technical Recruitment Ltd is recruiting a Project Software Engineer to lead a strategic SCADA upgrade for a UK Renewable Energy business. You will own requirements, drive tendering and oversee delivery, acting as the client’s technical lead throughout the lifecycle.

The role emphasizes specification writing, vendor management and project oversight rather than hands-on development, with hybrid working in Towcester and Northampton and on-site visits as required.

Qualifications

• Experience with AVEVA System Platform in SCADA environments.
• Knowledge of InTouch and OMI migration.
• Proven track record delivering SCADA/industrial software projects.
• Strong skills in technical specification writing and vendor management.
• Understanding of HMI design principles and alarm management standards.
• Experience delivering large-scale system migrations.

MC Technical Recruitment is currently looking to recruit a Project Software Engineer to join a UK Renewable Energy Business working with wind & solar technologies. This is an exciting opportunity to lead the definition, tendering & delivery of a strategic upgrade to their SCADA system. This is a technical leadership role focused on specification writing, vendor management & project oversight rather than hands-on development, acting as the client's technical lead throughout the project lifecycle.
