Job summary

Fluence Energy, LLC is seeking a SCADA Network Engineer to keep our advanced Battery Energy Storage Systems connected, secure, and high‑performing across the EMEA region.

You will design, integrate, and support SCADA networks, industrial protocols, Linux systems, and cybersecurity measures, working with customers and field service engineers.

This hybrid role based in London involves travel and close collaboration with partners to deliver reliable energy storage solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience with SCADA and OT networking in industrial environments.
• Hands-on with IEC protocols and industrial Ethernet.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Fluent English; other European languages a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead SCADA networking requirements for project-specific deployments.
• Support integration with TSO and customer SCADA environments.
• Develop and maintain system documentation including network diagrams and signal lists.
• Collaborate with Field Service Engineers to resolve complex technical challenges.
• Assist testing of upgrades and change orders and validate procedures.
• Provide technical interface to customers and partners on SCADA and networking.
• Monitor performance, diagnose issues, and perform root cause analyses.
• Drive process improvements and maintain comprehensive technical records.
