Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Automation Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in SCADA/OT, industrial networking, power generation, or utilities.
• Hands-on experience with IEC 60870-5-101/104, IEC 61850, DNP3, Modbus, TCP/IP, OPC.
• Knowledge of network architecture, OSI, routing, switching, firewalls, VPNs, industrial Ethernet.
• Familiarity with Linux, Python or Bash, and version control tools such as GitHub.
• Fluent in English; additional European languages are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead project-specific requirements related to SCADA, monitoring, networking, cybersecurity, system architecture, and equipment integration for operational Battery Energy Storage Systems.
• Support integration of Fluence control systems with TSO and customer SCADA environments, ensuring communication and compliance with requirements.
• Develop and maintain core system documentation, including network architectures, signal lists, diagrams, inventories, and recovery strategies.
• Collaborate with Field Service Engineers to troubleshoot challenges across SCADA and network environments.
• Support testing and validation procedures during upgrades and changes.
• Engage in hands-on laboratory testing and evaluation of new technologies and prototypes.
