Job summary

The Opportunity: We are working with a leading multinational consultancy overseeing a major redevelopment programme at Devonport Dockyard in Plymouth. As the SCADA / Controls Delivery Manager, you will provide client-side leadership and technical oversight of SCADA, controls and associated electrical systems.

The role requires coordinating consultants, designers and contractors to ensure designs, installations, commissioning and handover meet programme requirements, technical standards and

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in Electrical/Control/Automation engineering.
• Strong knowledge of SCADA, PLC, and industrial automation systems.
• Experience delivering design to handover in complex infrastructure projects and client-side roles.

Responsibilities

• Lead client-side delivery and technical oversight of SCADA and controls.
• Coordinate design, installation, testing, commissioning and handover.
• Review designs, drawings and contractor proposals.
• Ensure systems meet safety and security requirements.
• Manage interfaces with MEP and infrastructure packages.
• Support FAT/SAT testing and system acceptance.
• Maintain documentation and assurance records throughout lifecycle.
