Job summary

Samuel Frank Associates Ltd in Sheffield is seeking a Control Systems Engineer to design, configure and develop PLC and SCADA software for diverse process-control projects. The role offers a permanent position with a clear path for progression in a collaborative, expert team.

You will deliver full project lifecycles from concept to commissioning, produce detailed design docs, and work across office and site locations (roughly 85/15).

Qualifications

• 5+ years in control systems engineering.
• Experience with PLC/SCADA in a system integrator environment.
• UK driving licence and eligibility to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure and develop PLC and SCADA software from scratch.
• Deliver full project lifecycle from concept through commissioning.
• Produce detailed specifications and design documentation.
• Test and commission systems in operational environments.
• Office split approx. 85%/15% across regional sites.
