Job summary

Sanderson Government & Defence is seeking a Performance Analyst for a hybrid role in the Telford area on a 6-month contract. The position requires active SC Clearance and offers a daily rate of £400 Inside IR35.

Work will be 2–3 days onsite per week with other time spent collaborating remotely as part of a major digital transformation programme. You will develop and evolve performance measurement frameworks, deliver actionable insights, and support evidence-based decisions to continually improve

SC Cleared Performance Analyst | £400/day Inside IR35 | Telford Hybrid | 6 Months

Location: Telford (2-3 days onsite per week)
Rate: £400 per day (Inside IR35)

We're seeking an experienced Performance Analyst to join a major digital transformation programme, helping shape data-driven decision making across critical services and products.

This is a key role focused on developing and evolving performance measurement frameworks, delivering actionable insights, and ensuring digital services are continuously improved through robust analysis and evidence-based recommendations.

What You’ll Be Doing

Essential Skills & Experience

• Proven experience operating as a Performance Analyst within Agile digital delivery environments
• Strong understanding of performance measurement frameworks and KPI development
• Experience working with analytics platforms and performance reporting tools
• Ability to translate complex data into meaningful insights and recommendations for stakeholders
• Strong data analysis and storytelling capabilities
• Experience working with both qualitative and quantitative research and data sources
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
• Ability to influence decisions through evidence-based analysis

Desirable Experience

• Government or public sector digital programme experience
• Experience working within multidisciplinary product teams
• Familiarity with user-centred design and evidence-led service improvement approaches
