Job summary

Randstad Technologies Recruitment is seeking an IT Technical Analyst to provide Tier 1/2 hardware, software and infrastructure support across regional sites. The role balances desk-side support with hands-on involvement in infrastructure maintenance, procurement and Agile IT projects.

The position offers onsite or hybrid work across Loughborough, Stevenage, or Shepshed, with a 2+ year background in IT support and a degree. Candidates should be proficient in Windows, AD, MS Office and ServiceNow.

Qualifications

2+ years of IT support or infrastructure administration experience.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent experience.
Proficient in Windows OS, Active Directory, MS Office, ITSM tools (ServiceNow), hardware repair, and basic networking/security.

Responsibilities

User Support: Deliver desk-side help desk support, resolve tickets (ServiceNow), and create end-user training materials.
Systems & Infrastructure: Maintain PCs, servers, networks (LAN/WAN), Active Directory, backups, and air-gapped systems.
Compliance & Procurement: Own site KPIs, handle hardware/software procurement, and maintain security controls (SOX, Cyber Essentials, CMMC).
Operations: Join on-call rotations and apply continuous improvement methods to reduce costs and boost efficiency.
