Job summary

DXC Technology seeks an LTIS Gamecock Barracks Engineer for the Warwickshire client site, supporting secure environment infrastructure, training systems, and on-site delivery. The role requires SC clearance and hands-on IT support experience within a military context, with strong customer service and English proficiency.

Qualifications

• Wealth of experience dealing with people at all levels within a Military environment
• Deep customer domain knowledge and experience
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills and customer service aptitude
• Fluent command of the English language
• Excellent organisational skills and remote troubleshooting ability
• At least 3 years in an IT support organisation
• Strong ITIL incident management understanding and SLA adherence
• Experience researching complex issues
• Self-motivated with a focus on delivering excellent service
• Good understanding of network design and topology
• Hands-on onsite delivery under pressure to meet deadlines
• In-depth project delivery experience with MoD Guidelines and Standards
• Demonstrable configuration management experience
• SC clearance is required

Responsibilities

• Software, Hardware and Infrastructure delivery-based projects, ranging from changes to existing configurations through to complete new site deliveries
• Work as part of a small team making decisions on complex business issues
• Completes a wide variety of internal and customer facing tasks
• Supporting complex, bespoke client systems, e.g. training, audio/visual, networking, telephony
• Projects the right image
