Job summary

Career Choices Dewis Gyrfa Ltd is seeking an experienced Saw Operative for a long-term temp-to-perm role in Patchway (BS34). You will operate band, circular, or bar saws to cut metal to exact customer specs, and perform general warehouse duties.

The position includes an initial paid training period, followed by weekend shifts at the weekend rate. Training pay is £15.90 per hour for 3–4 weeks (Mon-Fri), with progression into weekend work at £25.34 per hour.

Qualifications

• Previous experience operating saws (metal cutting preferred).
• Comfortable working in a warehouse or production environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Reliable, hardworking and able to work weekend shifts.

Hours: Saturday & Sunday - 6am-6pm

Location: Patchway, Bristol (BS34)

Training Pay: £15.90 per hour (first 3-4 weeks, Mon-Fri)

Role Overview

We're recruiting an experienced Saw Operative for a leading commercial and aerospace manufacturing business in Patchway (BS34). This is a long‑term, temp‑to‑perm opportunity offering outstanding pay, stability and genuine career progression.

If you have experience operating band saws, circular saws, or bar saws, this is an excellent chance to join a growing and supportive team.

You will complete an initial 3-4 week training period, Monday to Friday, paid at £15.90 per hour, before moving onto weekend shifts at the weekend rate.
