Job summary

Gi Group is recruiting for a Saw Operative in Patchway (BS34). The role involves operating band, circular, or bar saws to cut metal to customer specs, with a 3- to 4-week paid training period at £15.90/hour.

After training, you’ll move to weekend shifts at £25.34/hour, on a long-term temp-to-perm basis. Shifts are Saturdays and Sundays, 6am-6pm, with excellent training and progression opportunities within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Previous experience operating saws (metal cutting preferred).
• Comfortable working in a warehouse or production environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Reliable, hardworking and able to work weekend shifts.

Responsibilities

• Operate saws to cut metal materials to precise customer specifications.
• Use band saws; circular or bar saw experience welcomed.
• Carry out general warehouse and production duties.
• Ensure accuracy, quality and safe working practices at all times.
