Job summary

Interaction Recruitment is recruiting a Saw Operator in Northampton for a permanent role within an established manufacturing business. You will join a team and operate a Band Saw with full training provided. Seasonal and safety procedures are emphasised; you may need your own car due to training location.

Ideally you will hold a Forklift/Reach Truck licence and LOLER certification would be advantageous. The role involves warehouse tasks, strong system use, and rigorous housekeeping to ensure

Qualifications

• Experience operating a Band Saw.
• Forklift/Reach Truck licence preferred.
• LOLER certification is advantageous.
• Knowledge of warehouse tasks and packaging processes.
• Strong computer literacy and ability to use different systems.
• Ability to follow safety protocols and maintain housekeeping.

• Ability to perform quality checks.

Responsibilities

• Operate a Band Saw as part of the manufacturing process.
• Carry out warehouse tasks including collecting and returning materials.
• Perform quality checks and maintain a clean work area.

Saw Operator

Salary: £28,000-£32,000

Hours: Monday to Thursday 08:00-16:30, Friday: 08:30-16:00

Interaction Recruiting are recruiting on behalf of our client in Northampton for experienced Saw Operators. The successful candidate(s) will join their team on a permanent basis. You will be joining an established and successful manufacturing business. Therefore we can only consider applicants who have relevant experience operating saws.

Full training will be provided but experience working on machinery (in particular Band Saws) and a Counter Balance Licence are preferred. Due to training being in a different location,you will need access to your own car.

Requirements

• Experience operating a Band Saw
• Ideally a Forklift/ Reach Truck Licence
• LOLER certification would be advantageous
• There will be generation warehouse tasks involved in this role such as collectign and returning materials/ packaging deliveries to send out to customers
• Must have strong computer knowledge and be able to use different systems
• Ability to follow safety protocols
• Ability to follow instructions and work with high levels of attention to detail
• Carry out quality checksMaintain working area to a high level of housekeeping
