Job summary

Vets Now is seeking a Saturday Veterinary Nurse to join our Bath team. This weekend role offers £17.00 per hour (DOE) for permanent, on-site work, with every other Saturday night shift from 19:00 to 09:00 and bank holidays.

You will support triage, surgery, anaesthesia, and in-patient care, developing ECC skills while contributing to high clinic standards. We welcome motivated nurses who are RCVS-registered and passionate about pet care; benefits include private medical insurance, CPD access,

Qualifications

• RCVS registered for a minimum of six months.
• Motivated to maintain high clinic standards.
• Passionate about caring for clients and their pets.
• Experience with an ECC caseload is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• First Aid - give appropriate advice over the phone and perform in clinic.
• Critical Care - management and monitoring of major body systems, monitoring of in-patient trends and identifying changes quickly, physiotherapy, pain assessment, wound and dressing care.
• Diagnostics - confident to perform basic diagnostic procedures in a sole charge capacity.

Understanding your key role
