Job summary

Atos is seeking a SAS Subject Matter Expert (SME) to lead technical direction during a cloud migration programme. You will ensure SAS workloads are re-platformed onto a secure cloud-based data platform with data integrity and operational continuity.

Collaboration with architects, data engineers and delivery teams is essential to define migration strategies and transfer knowledge effectively. The role requires hands-on leadership across Discovery, Alpha and Beta phases, mentoring SAS Engineers

Qualifications

Extensive experience as SAS SME, including SAS architecture and analytics platforms.
Strong ETL, data migration, and validation capabilities.
Experience in cloud migration or re-platforming analytics workloads.
Excellent stakeholder engagement and knowledge-transfer skills.

Responsibilities

Provide expert guidance on SAS architecture, data flows, platform design, and cloud re-platforming approaches.
Define and assure the SAS migration, validation, and reconciliation strategy alongside data engineering and architecture teams.
Support the development of High-Level Designs (HLDs), Low-Level Designs (LLDs), technical documentation, and knowledge articles.
Ensure SAS data integrity throughout migration, testing, validation, and dual-running activities.
Mentor and support SAS Engineers and implementation teams throughout the delivery lifecycle.
