Job summary

Atos is seeking an experienced SAS Subject Matter Expert to lead the migration and re-platforming of analytics workloads onto a cloud-based data platform. You will define migration strategies, validate solutions, and ensure knowledge transfer to operations teams.

Hybrid role with onsite attendance required three days per week at Newcastle, Manchester, or Blackpool locations. The role emphasizes SAS architecture, data governance, and cross-functional collaboration with architects and engineers.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience as a SAS Subject Matter Expert, including SAS architecture, administration, and analytics platforms.
• Strong understanding of ETL processes, data integration, and data flow architecture.
• Proven experience leading data migration, reconciliation, and validation activities.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert guidance on SAS architecture, data flows, platform design, and cloud re-platforming approaches.
• Define and assure the SAS migration, validation, and reconciliation strategy alongside data engineering and architecture teams.
• Support the development of High-Level Designs (HLDs), Low-Level Designs (LLDs), technical documentation, and knowledge articles.
• Ensure SAS data integrity throughout migration, testing, validation, and dual-running activities.
• Mentor and support SAS Engineers and implementation teams throughout the delivery lifecycle.
