Job summary

Atos is seeking an experienced SAS Subject Matter Expert to lead the migration of SAS workloads to a cloud-based analytics platform within a major data transformation programme. You will shape migration strategies, validate solutions, and guide implementation with architects, data engineers and delivery teams.

This hybrid role requires SC clearance eligibility and onsite presence at Newcastle, Manchester, or Blackpool three days a week, with a strong emphasis on data integrity, governance, and

Qualifications

• Extensive experience as SAS Subject Matter Expert, including SAS architecture and analytics platforms.
• Strong understanding of ETL processes, data integration, and data flow architecture.
• Proven experience leading data migration, reconciliation, and validation activities.
• Experience supporting cloud migration or re-platforming initiatives involving analytics and reporting workloads.
• Experience with cloud data platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert guidance on SAS architecture, data flows, platform design, and cloud re-platforming approaches.
• Define and assure the SAS migration, validation, and reconciliation strategy alongside data engineering and architecture teams.
• Support the development of High-Level Designs (HLDs), Low-Level Designs (LLDs), technical documentation, and knowledge articles.
• Ensure SAS data integrity throughout migration, testing, validation, and dual-running activities.
• Mentor and support SAS Engineers and implementation teams throughout the delivery lifecycle.
