Job summary

Atos is seeking an experienced SAS Subject Matter Expert to lead technical leadership across Discovery, Alpha and Beta phases of a major cloud migration programme. You will ensure SAS workloads are re-platformed onto a cloud data platform with data integrity and operational continuity.

Working with architects, data engineers and delivery teams, you will define migration strategies, validate solutions, and transfer knowledge to operations, while mentoring SAS engineers throughout the project

Qualifications

• Extensive SAS SME experience including architecture, administration, and analytics.
• Strong ETL and data-flow architecture knowledge.
• Proven data migration, reconciliation, and validation experience.
• Experience with cloud analytics migrations (Azure/AWS/GCP).
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and knowledge transfer skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert guidance on SAS architecture, data flows, platform design, and cloud re-platforming approaches.
• Define and assure the SAS migration, validation, and reconciliation strategy alongside data engineering and architecture teams.
• Support the development of High-Level Designs (HLDs), Low-Level Designs (LLDs), technical documentation, and knowledge articles.
• Ensure SAS data integrity throughout migration, testing, validation, and dual-running activities.
• Mentor and support SAS Engineers and implementation teams throughout the delivery lifecycle.
