- £555 per day via Umbrella
- Remote – ad hoc visits to Derby
- Initial contract until 31/07/2027
- BPSS required to start, with SC clearance obtained on the job
ABOUT THE CLIENT
Our client is undertaking a major SAP HCM transformation and requires an experienced SAP HCM Payroll Consultant to support complex payroll environments across the UK and Canada. Working across project delivery and live support, you will provide functional expertise across payroll, time management and personnel administration while delivering reliable solutions to business-critical requirements.
THE SAP HCM PAYROLL CONSULTANT ROLE:
As an SAP HCM Payroll Consultant, you will provide functional expertise across SAP Payroll, supporting both project lifecycles and live production environments.
You will be responsible for configuring and supporting payroll solutions, ensuring compliance with UK and Canadian legislation, and providing reliable solutions to complex customer requirements.
Key responsibilities include:
- Configuring and supporting SAP HCM Payroll
- Working across UK and Canadian payroll processing
- Supporting end-to- end payroll and year-end processing
- Applying knowledge of Canadian federal and provincial tax legislation
- Ensuring payroll compliance and statutory reporting requirements are met
- Working with SAP ECC, SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll and S/4HANA HCM
- Supporting Personnel Administration and Time Management
- Writing and maintaining Payroll PCRs and Schemas
- Working with third-party payroll interfaces and vendors
- Supporting Country Legal Changes
- Working across project lifecycles and live support environments
- Collaborating with technical teams across ABAP, BASIS, Security, Workflow and Integration
- Providing independent functional analysis and reliable solutions to customers
SAP HCM PAYROLL CONSULTANT ESSENTIAL SKILLS:
- Strong experience as an SAP HCM Payroll Consultant
- Extensive SAP Payroll configuration and support experience
- Strong experience with UK and Canadian Payroll
- Detailed knowledge of Canadian federal and provincial payroll legislation, taxation and compliance
- Good understanding of UK payroll legislation, statutory payments and deductions
- Strong knowledge of end-to- end payroll and year-end processing
- Expert experience writing Payroll PCRs and Schemas
- Experience with SAP ECC
- Experience with SAP HCM Time Management
- Experience with Personnel Administration (PA)
- Experience with SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll
- Experience with third-party payroll interfaces/vendors
- Strong functional HCM knowledge and broader technical awareness
DESIRABLE:
- SAP S/4HANA Human Capital Management experience
- Additional country payroll experience
- Experience with Workflow, ABAP, BASIS, Security and Integration
- Previous experience in both project delivery and live support environments
