Job summary

Global Payments Inc. is seeking a Salesforce Engineering Lead to define the strategy for our Salesforce platform and lead multiple engineering teams across global locations. You will shape roadmaps, drive performance, and ensure secure, scalable delivery across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud.

You will manage budgets, governance, and talent development while partnering with executives to align technology with enterprise priorities and risk controls.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of technology experience with 5+ years leading large Salesforce engineering teams.
• Proven track record delivering enterprise Salesforce programmes and platform transformations.
• Experience managing managers and cross-functional engineering groups across time zones.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the Salesforce platform engineering strategy aligned with business goals.
• Lead multiple engineering teams, managers, technical leads, and specialists globally.
• Establish and monitor KPIs, OKRs, scorecards, and operational metrics for delivery quality.
• Own resource and workforce planning, organisational design, and talent development.
• Manage budgets, vendor relationships, and offshore delivery partnerships.
• Drive end-to-end delivery across products and platform initiatives with high quality.
• Partner with Product, Architecture, Operations, and Leadership on roadmaps and investments.
• Champion DevOps, CI/CD, automation, observability, resilience, and secure development.
• Build a high-performance culture focused on accountability, collaboration, and learning.
• Ensure platform stability, availability, scalability, and security while managing risk.
• Lead major incident management and service improvement initiatives.
• Drive adoption of Salesforce technologies including Agentforce and Data Cloud.
• Establish governance frameworks balancing agility, quality, and risk.
• Develop leadership capability through coaching and career development programs.
• Represent Salesforce engineering in executive forums with regular delivery updates.
