Job summary

GCS Recruitment Specialists is assisting a client in London to hire a Salesforce Data Analyst (Payments) for a 12-month contract. You will support Sales Operations and Data Analysis within Payments/FinTech, maintaining CRM data quality and delivering operational reporting.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and drive process improvements, data governance, and UAT efforts. Advanced Excel/Google Sheets and Salesforce expertise are essential, with familiarity in AI productivity tools

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience in Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, Commercial Operations, Business Operations, or Sales Support.
• Strong hands-on experience with Salesforce CRM.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, dashboards).
• Experience supporting contract, procurement, or vendor-management processes.
• Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve Salesforce CRM data integrity (accounts, contacts, contracts, reporting structures).
• Perform data analysis using Excel/Sheets with pivot tables and lookups; create dashboards.

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly organised and analytical Sales Operations & Data Analyst to support a fast-paced commercial team within the Payments and Financial Services sector. This position is ideal for professionals with experience in Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, Commercial Operations, CRM Administration, or Business Operations who enjoy combining data analysis, process improvement, stakeholder management, and operational support.

You will play a critical role in ensuring smooth commercial operations by maintaining CRM data quality, supporting contract workflows, delivering operational reporting, and partnering with cross-functional teams across Sales, Marketing, Product, Legal, and Finance.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve Salesforce CRM data integrity, including accounts, contacts, contracts, and reporting structures.
• Perform data analysis using Excel and Google Sheets, leveraging Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs/XLOOKUPs, dashboards, and reporting tools.
• Support contract request and procurement workflows through business systems and approval processes.
• Produce operational reports and analyse sales performance, merchant volumes, pipeline activity, and key business metrics.
• Coordinate with stakeholders across Sales, Marketing, Product Strategy, Legal, Finance, and Compliance teams.
• Assist in user acceptance testing (UAT), process enhancements, and operational improvement initiatives.
• Develop and maintain knowledge libraries, onboarding materials, process documentation, and training resources.
• Ensure compliance and audit readiness through accurate record keeping and documentation management.
• Utilise AI productivity tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or similar technologies to improve operational efficiency.

Required Experience

• 3+ years' experience within Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, Commercial Operations, Business Operations, or Sales Support.
• Strong hands-on experience with Salesforce CRM.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets skills, including:

• Experience supporting contract, procurement, or vendor-management processes.
• Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional coordination skills.

• Experience with tools such as Tableau, Snowflake, Oracle, Zip, or similar platforms is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with AI-powered productivity tools is advantageous.
