Turn this role into an interview — a resume and cover letter built around what this employer wants.
Octopus Computer Associates is seeking a proactive Sales Operations & Enablement Coordinator on a contract basis in Greater London. You will support a large team of Relationship Managers and VPs, help colleagues navigate Salesforce, and keep contract data current.
Your role focuses on practical system walkthroughs, data accuracy, and timely deal progression. You will also create reports, validate merchant volumes, and contribute to governance packs.
Great with Salesforce, confident with people and good at getting things moving?
We’re looking for a proactive Sales Operations & Enablement Coordinator to support a commercial team of around 70 senior Relationship Managers and VPs.
You’ll become the person colleagues turn to when they need help navigating Salesforce, progressing a contract or finding reliable data. Your work will help the sales team spend more time building client relationships and growing the business.
This is a varied, hands‑on opportunity for someone who enjoys solving problems, making processes easier and becoming the expert others rely on. You’ll need strong Salesforce user skills; platform configuration and Salesforce administration aren’t part of the role.
Helping the sales team succeed: Support senior Relationship Managers and VPs with everyday operational queries, deliver practical system walkthroughs and help new joiners get up to speed.
Keeping Salesforce accurate: Update account and contact records, upload contracts, maintain clawback records and identify missing or outdated information.
Moving contracts forward: Submit and track requests across Salesforce, Zip and Oracle, working with Legal, Supplier Operations and approvers to resolve delays.
Turning data into useful insights: Use Excel and Google Sheets to validate merchant volumes, review pipeline data and prepare performance reporting.
Improving how the team works: Build a central library of presentations, process guides and practical job aids.
Supporting operational delivery: Test Salesforce updates before release, order test cards and gather information for deal reviews and governance packs.
Keeping documentation in good order: Maintain activity logs and help resolve gaps identified through internal audits.
You’ll likely have 2–5 years’ experience in sales operations, revenue operations, commercial support or a similar position, alongside:
Strong hands‑on Salesforce experience, including managing records, maintaining data and running reports.
Confident Excel or Google Sheets skills, including XLOOKUP, pivot tables and charts.
The confidence to guide senior colleagues, explain processes clearly and follow up persistently and professionally.
Good organisation, attention to detail and a practical approach to working with incomplete information.
A helpful, service‑focused attitude and a willingness to take ownership.
Comfort using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini to improve productivity.
Experience in payments, banking or financial services would be particularly useful. Exposure to Zip, Oracle, Coupa, Ariba or similar contract/procurement tools is also valuable, while Snowflake or Tableau would be a bonus.
You’ll have visibility across a substantial commercial team, regular contact with senior stakeholders and the opportunity to make a measurable difference to how the sales organisation operates.
