Job summary

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Senior Data Analyst, Reporting Analyst, BI Analyst, or Sales Operations Analyst.
• Experience within Payments, Card Schemes, Merchant Acquiring, Issuing, FinTech, or Financial Services environments.
• Strong Salesforce reporting and dashboard development experience.
• Expertise in Tableau, Power BI, or similar data visualisation tools.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain executive reporting and dashboards for Director and VP-level stakeholders.
• Build automated reporting solutions leveraging Salesforce, Snowflake, Tableau, and AI-driven tools.
• Manage end-to-end sales pipeline reporting from prospecting through contract termination.
• Develop forecasting models for commercial performance, incentives, and revenue tracking.
• Own monthly contract execution, invoice, and operational reporting.
• Produce merchant, POS, transaction, and scheme-related reporting across multiple regions.
• Support regulatory, audit, control testing, and data governance requirements.

Job Title: Senior Data Analyst (Payments & Scheme Reporting)

The Opportunity

We are seeking a Senior Data Analyst with strong experience in Payments, Card Schemes, Acquiring/Issuing Operations, and Commercial Reporting to join a global sales operations and reporting function. This role will be responsible for delivering executive-level reporting, forecasting, dashboard development, and data-driven insights across regional and global stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have a blend of Salesforce reporting, Tableau/Snowflake expertise, advanced Excel modelling, and payments industry knowledge, particularly within Visa, Mastercard, acquiring, issuing, merchant, and transaction reporting environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and maintain executive reporting and dashboards for Director and VP-level stakeholders.
• Build automated reporting solutions leveraging Salesforce, Snowflake, Tableau, and AI-driven tools.
• Manage end-to-end sales pipeline reporting from prospecting through contract termination.
• Develop forecasting models for commercial performance, incentives, and revenue tracking.
• Own monthly contract execution, invoice, and operational reporting.
• Produce merchant, POS, transaction, and scheme-related reporting across multiple regions.
• Support regulatory, audit, control testing, and data governance requirements.
• Partner with global stakeholders across EMEA and international markets.
• Identify reporting inefficiencies and drive automation using Copilot, Python, and modern analytics tools.

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven experience as a Senior Data Analyst, Reporting Analyst, BI Analyst, or Sales Operations Analyst.
• Experience within Payments, Card Schemes, Merchant Acquiring, Issuing, FinTech, or Financial Services environments.
• Strong Salesforce reporting and dashboard development experience.
• Expertise in Tableau, Power BI, or similar data visualisation tools.
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake, SQL, and large multi-source datasets.
• Advanced Excel skills, including financial forecasting, modelling, and analysis.
• Experience leveraging Python, Copilot, Claude, or similar AI tools to improve reporting efficiency.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with experience supporting senior leadership teams.
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent reporting cycles in a fast-paced environment.

Highly Desirable

• Experience supporting Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, or similar payment network environments.
• Knowledge of merchant acquiring, issuing, transaction processing, incentive reporting, and scheme reporting.
• Experience within regulated industries, including Financial Services, Banking, Payments, or FinTech.
• Exposure to multinational or global reporting environments.
