Northgate Insurance Services is seeking an experienced Team Manager for our Peterlee contact centre. You will lead a team of sales advisers, coaching them to deliver excellent customer outcomes and hit key performance targets, while acting as a primary escalation point for customers.

The role includes regular 1:1s, coaching, training, and quality monitoring to foster a supportive, high-performance culture aligned with our values.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a management role within a contact centre.
• Strong leadership and people development skills.
• Customer-focused mindset with proven coaching abilities.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills.
• Clear communication and decision-making in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead, support and develop a team of sales advisers to achieve KPIs and deliver great customer outcomes.
• Provide regular coaching, 1:1s, training and performance feedback.
• Act as escalation point for customer issues and ensure fair outcomes in line with values.
• Monitor quality, provide feedback, and support day-to-day performance.
